August '25 Updates
UpdatesHey there, Vincent here, I thought I'll do something different for once as it's been some time. I've been working on adding more features to Sublime Feed as I find myself using it more and more ā I know, that sounds silly. Yet here I am reading more and enjoying life as a user. So let's get started on what I worked on.
OPML Import
The missing link! You can now import your OPML exports straight into the Sublime Feed and it will do the rest for you. It'll work in the background to fetch the feeds, check them, and add them ā if there are any errors, it'll let you know about the specific feeds. Simples.
Another nice addition to this is, when you export a Sublime Feed OPML file, it will add extra data to the export, so when you come back š it will import everything as it was, including custom accent colours, settings and even pinned positions.
Head on over to your settings page and find the Import & Export Feeds options there.
Filter and search your subscriptions
In Sublime Feed you have different options for each feed that allow you to control how you see your posts, for example you can subscribe to a feed but never show it on your main timeline (great for keeping tabs on things), or you can hide posts that don't have a title, like micro posts.
Now, when you have are subscribed to more than 5 feeds, which have different settings, you can now filter your list to easily find them.

Additionally you can now also search your feeds by title ā just hit the slash command on your keyboard or click on the search icon and start typing.

Share posts
Next up, when you hover over a post in your feed, you have a new option to share a post. This is a special link that will persist and link to a special Sublime Feed hosted page that looks and feels exactly like our reader view.
Links are forever and are a great option if you like the content of a site, but there is questionable taste on the overall design and flow of a site ā or if you just want to spread the Sublime Feed reader love.
Sharing is also available straight from the reader view as you read, just click share and it will copy the link to your clipboard. If you already shared the post, you also have an option to remove it or copy the link again.
Links are unique to the post, and when you un-share, that link will no longer work.
Additionally you can manage and see all shared items in the "Shared Posts" section in your account.

I hope you find this useful. Here is this post in the shared view.
Other tweaks
I've made a few minor tweaks here and there also, for example the
"Latest post" date now reflects the actual latest post depending on the
settings you have for your feed. If you have a feed where you hide posts
without a title, it will show you the latest post that fits the
criteria... I felt it was confusing. In addition to that, you also now
see a little red dot next to the "show all posts" if there was a new
post, which didn't have title (as an example).

And for eagle eyes users, and one that was in the changelog a while
back, here is a screenshot of what the "reader mode" button looks like
when you have new posts since your last visit:

This opens up a special reader mode that allows you to just... read. It'll start the oldest one you didn't yet see and you can work your way through as you want to. That button hides automatically after 15 mins... You can always trigger the timeline view regardless by visiting the same URL: sublimefeed.com/reader/timeline
And that's it folks for now. There is more, but those are boring bits.
