Search, Folders, Full Articles, and a Later List

September brought search, folders, and full-article fetch to Sublime Feed, plus a Later list and two new kinds of email.

Search

• ✨ Search finds feeds and posts from one box on the Subscriptions page, so you can dig up the post you half-remember from last week, or the feed you followed months ago and can't quite name. It matches post titles and excerpts, plus feed names and URLs. It doesn't search the full text of posts. Press / to jump straight to it. It appears once you follow more than seven feeds.

  

Folders

• ✨ Folders let you group feeds, so you can read just the news in the morning or just your friends' blogs at the weekend. A feed can sit in more than one folder. On My Feed, there's a chip for each folder next to All, so switching is one tap.

• ⚠️ Deleting a folder doesn't unsubscribe you from anything. The feeds stay subscribed and just leave the folder.

Full-article fetch

• ✨ Some feeds only send a summary. Turn on Fetch full article when truncated for one of those, and Sublime Feed downloads the original page once and shows it in reader view, so you can finish the piece without leaving. It's off by default. If the fetch fails, or comes back shorter than it should, you see the feed version instead.

Later

• ✨ Later is a private list for posts you want to come back to, like the long read you spot at lunch and want to save for the evening. Use Save for later on a post, find it under Later in the main navigation, and mark it Done when you've read it. It isn't public and has no feed of its own.

Email

• ✨ Morning Digest — one email each morning with new posts across My Feed, so you can catch up over coffee without opening the app. Turn it on under Account → Morning Digest and pick the hour (7am by default, in your own time zone), which days it comes, and how many posts it includes. A single feed can also have its own morning email, and those feeds are left out of the main digest so nothing arrives twice.

• ✨ New-post email — turn on Email me when this feed posts for a feed you never want to miss, like a friend who writes twice a year, and you get one email as soon as each new post arrives.
• 🐛 Untitled posts — alert emails for posts without a title no longer show an “Untitled post” heading. The excerpt leads instead.
